Neyrinck is on a mission to support legacy control surfaces like Digidesign Pro Control, Control 24, and C24 for current versions of Pro Tools as well as other DAWs like Logic, Cubase, and Nuendo. With this latest release, V-Control Pro now supports the Pro Control Edit Pack with the latest versions of Pro Tools, Harrison MixBus, Ableton Live Control as well as improvements for Logic Pro, Cubase, and Nuendo.
Edit Pack Resurrected For Modern Pro Tools
The Pro Control Edit Pack is such a beautiful surface. Users begged Neyrinck to support it with modern Pro Tools. It was not easy, but V-Control Pro now supports it by adapting it to the Surround Panner protocol. There are a few limitations, but check out the video and see all the great stuff it does.
Mixbus Control
Harrison Mixbus users love the wonderful EQ and Dynamics built into every track. With the latest version of V-Control Pro from Neyrinck, you can now get hands-on control with a C|24, Control 24, or Pro Control control surface. Check out this video from Neyrinck to see how.
Ableton Live Control
Mixing in Ableton Live has taken a big step forward. Now you get hands-on mix control with lots of nice faders on a C|24, Control 24, or Pro Contol surface. Check out this video from Neyrinck to see how.
Logic Pro X - Improvements
Neyrinck has made this video showing how V-Control Pro now integrates well with C|24, Control 24, or Pro Control. Along the way, they made some improvements including Stereo Output Metering and Improved Plug-in Editing.
Cubase / Nuendo - Improvements
Recently, a user contacted Neyrinck with an idea…
Mix Window Auto Scroll - Set up the mix window to have the same number of tracks as your surface and now it can auto-scroll to match your surface. There is more detail on this in the Neyrinck V-Control Pro v 2.6.2 README.
Neyrinck tell us that the nice folks at Steinberg recently helped them figure out how to make two significant new features for C|24, Control 24, or Pro Control - Output Metering (Stereo, 5.1) and Master Fader Control.
