This week our friends at Sonarworks released a major update of their hugely popular Speaker & Headphone Calibration plug-in Reference. At first glance, there appears to be very little in terms of new features, however, Sonarworks have been very busy implementing zero latency into the system meaning users can now track through Reference 4 speaker and/or headphone calibrations without any monitor latency issues. This is big news! Reference can now be used throughout the entire audio production process suppose to being just a mix/monitoring tool.
