We were contacted by community member Glenn Skinner who had come across this advert on the website Creative Cow. He wasn't sure at first if it was real or a joke, but on clicking it he was taken to the Avid website where he could buy (or rent) a copy of Pro Tools 12.
He was somewhat surprised by the tone of the advert, so much so he didn't believe Avid would run this kind of advert. He felt the message of the advert maligned the users of Pro Tools.
What do you think? More importantly do you spend more on your hair than Avid want you to spend on Pro Tools?
Our answer is no we don't spend that much on our hair.
