With the support of iLok, more tips & tricks from the community. Here is one from Michael Warner, who has won a stormtrooper ilok already and sent us this tip as well to help someone in the community…
Just another tip — (this works better for Post than music, but could still be useful). The first thing I do to every single session I work on is create marker #1 way past the potential end of the session. With this, if I ever need to conform anything, all I need to do is make sure all tracks are grouped and hit shift-period, shift-1, shift period (on the keypad) and I have selected all regions from the current timeline to the end (sometimes a cmd-B is needed to break at the timeline), and then I can grab and move or nudge accordingly. I find this much more helpful than using Shuffle mode because it’s more flexible about where I can place the regions.
