AIR Music Tech have announced the release of Sprite - a modern take on the studio hardware staple of the 80s and 90s, the multi-effects processor. We have the details…
Surpassing the limitations of conventional hardware units, Sprite is a versatile plugin which accommodates both simplicity and complexity according to the user's preferences. In the words of the press release, Sprite allows you to make “synths shine, bring guitars to life, and sprinkle audio fairy dust on vocals”, from the main interface in just a few seconds.
Switching over to the Edit mode, Sprite provides users with more extensive control to shape each aspect of the multi-effects according to their preferences. Distortion can be adjusted from a little added warmth to extreme breakup and there’s multiple ways to modulate the sound taking it from a gentle movement to a sweeping jet flanger.
The Delay feature covers a wide spectrum from super clean to gnarly tape, and reverb can place the effects in anything from a small room to a huge stadium. EQ, compression and pitch shift can all be added too.
Pricing & Availability
AIR Sprite supports AU, VST, VST3 and AAX formats for MacOS and VST, VST3 and AAX for Windows. The plugin is available now for the introductory price of $39.99 until 14th August 2023 (normally $79.99). A 10 day demo can be downloaded from the website here.
