The team at French synthesis specialists and vintage emulators Arturia are very pleased to announce the latest in their range of “effects you’ll actually use”. 3 Delays You’ll Actually Use features a vintage tape delay, an analogue “bucket brigade” style echo, and a “cutting edge” digital delay that is like nothing you have used before.
Arturia have modelled two famous delay effects (the Roland RE-201 Space Echo and the Electro Harmonix Memory Man) and then developed their own next-gen modern delay. Saturated tape tones, lo-fi BBD feedback, and synth-style modulating digital delay. It is all available in these 3 plug-ins.
Arturia have employed their exclusive TAE (True Analog Emulation) and Physical Modelling technologies, as used in their V Collection series of synths and keyboards, to revamp these legendary effects, to create this range of 21st century delays.
Delay Tape-201
Modelled on the famous 70s “space” delay which has been loved by guitarists and studios for half a century, this iconic delay has been reborn for your DAW, with perfect tape emulation and saturation, as well as host of powerful new features.
Delay Memory Brigade
The legendary “memory” BBD guitar pedal has been reimagined as a plug-in for your DAW. Lo-fi, filtered, dark tone with a huge scope for feedback. This delay will quite literally put you on “the edge”.
Delay Eternity
Delay Eternity is a modern delay packed with modulation possibilities, LFOs, twin delay lines, and signal-smashing effects within the feedback loop. This a totally new, totally original Arturia plug-in. Start with one of the presets and let you imagination run wild.
How Does It Sound?
In the video below you can see and hear examples of the 3 different delays in this bundle. For Tape-201 and Memory Brigade you hear a guitar part played while the different parameters of the plug-in are adjusted. For the Delay Eternity example you hear a simple muted guitar line played while we run through a selection of presets, just so you can hear some of what this plug-in can do.
