Classic large format consoles may be familiar to all of us and we certainly have access to their preamps and EQ via the many painstaking plug-in recreations available from companies like Plugin Alliance, Universal Audio and Softube. However many of us will have never had a really close look at one of these consoles, let alone mixed on one.
