We are pleased to announce the winner of the UAD Arrow Thunderbolt 3-Powered Desktop Audio Interface.
The winner is Ben Mathieu from France.
Ben has a unique studio set-up inside the back of a truck, he explains;
My name is Benjamin MATHIEU, I am an audio engineer and producer and owner of a mobile recording studio, in a truck, it's called Road Studio: www.roadstudio.fr
With this mobile studio, I record bands in unusual places like warehouses, churches, farm etc... We use different acoustics and ambiences to create more personal sound and music, experimenting with a different way of producing music. If we want big reverberation, we go to a church, if we want a pleasant and withdrawn location we go to the mountain... I also work in a lot on concert and live-session recording.
About UA Arrow :
The UA Arrow will give me the possibility to develop another mobile setup. Very useful to work directly with the band on demos, pre-productions and all the recording I need to do outside of my studio environment.
For me, the real advantage of the Arrow is that it provides a high-quality mobile recording with easy setup.
Well done Ben, it sounds like a portable interface is exactly what the doctor ordered.
