In this free video tutorial, brought to you with the support of Waves, you will learn how to add stereo width to mono effects inserted on Aux Tracks in Pro Tools, such as mono tape delays, using the Waves PS22 Spread plug-in. Users of the Waves H-Delay plug-in know that we can set the stereo characteristics of the delay to either Ping-Pong or Mono. As good as both these types sound it can be at times a bit limiting in the mix. The PS22 is a very good tool to insert after an H-Delay instance (set to mono) as the PS22 provides another way of getting enhanced stereo delay effects.
Visit the Waves website for more information about the PS22 range of mono to stereo plug-ins.
