Dulip Gnanakan
I live in Sri Lanka...a very small country but with a deep history in music. Mine began during the era of the Beatles inspiring me to ask my parents for a box guitar on which I set about trying to learn to play chords for the hits at the time.
Today I play the bass guitar for a band that performs a broad range of genres including jazz, pop and indigenous music. I also get a few gigs mixing bands at live events besides my work in my home studio.
I see Regroover Essential helping me out in a few ways that not many plugins out there have the capacity to do. Breaking down a drum loop and allowing me to remix it would be a start. Extracting samples from the separated layers to program other patterns for the same piece of music also would be something I would love to do.

I’m a creative practitioner and sound artist working within the education environment. I work with musicians, choirs, filmmakers and performance artists. Many of the groups I work with are just starting out and many are experiencing the varied forms of artistic expression for the first time.
My aim is is to support and encourage them, help them find their expressive voice and provide technical support for their projects, through my own skills or by introducing them to colleagues with the skills they need.
At the moment I’m working with a choir recording a traditional Irish/Scottish folk song. The arrangement morphs into an Asian dance instrumental section, this contains lots of percussion.
Regroover Essential will be ideal for combining the rhythmic qualities of both styles. I’m already wondering how it will work on some of the melody lines, looking forward to experimenting!

I'm an Engineer/Musician/Producer based in Amsterdam, my work ranges from live sound to Post-Production and this allows me to collaborate with different people with different backgrounds.
I also make music myself since it is my true passion and I love to collaborate with other musicians. Genre doesn't matter as I enjoy making pop songs the same as film scoring.
I definitely think that such a powerful tool as Regroover Essential will help me be more creative in my compositions and improve my workflow while working with loops.

I am a musician, engineer, and producer who recently graduated with a BA in Production of Music and Audio. Since graduating I have taken on a number of roles ranging from technician and engineer, for both live sound reinforcement and studio recording projects, to lecturer in music production and audio engineering. I also write, produce and perform as part of both solo and group projects.
I have a great appreciation for music technology, with a desire to push the boundaries of these technologies and create new sonic textures through the fusion of new and old techniques and technologies.
Having heard so much praise across the industry for Regroover Essential by Accusonus, I had to check out the plugin for myself and am highly inspired by the scope of both the technical and creative applications for Regroover. Already I am envisioning a plethora of situations to use and abuse Regroover in all my professional capacities, and look forward to igniting many a creative spark through its AI wizardry! Many thanks once again and best to all you experts!

I’m a Sound Designer & Editor currently working TV series, as well as freelance work on lower budget feature films & shorts. I’d say that 99% of my work is done from my home studio, and I travel to Hollywood, Burbank, Culver City when there is a need.
I’ve been working with Pro Tools for the last 25+ years and with Nuendo since around 2006.
My career started in Hollywood doing music recording, with a strong basis in MIDI-based music. I am still working with tape-based recording and razor blade editing as well.
While working at that facility in Hollywood we started heading towards TV & Feature Film post production. There were lots of Foley recording and ADR sessions until that company decided to go full on into Post Production. There’s also been a lot of TV & Film credits along the way and with that, less music recording & editing.
It will be interesting to see how Regroover can fit into my routine, and I’m sure I’ll find the need along the way. There’s probably times where it will be another useful tool in my tool bag, especially when it comes to some the lower budget projects. Those tend to be a little more “All encompassing”, and there is always a need to tweak music tracks along with that. I’ll bet there are even more uses for Regroover that has yet to be discovered. Time will tell, but as a Sound Designer & engineer, you can never have enough tools explore.
