We are very pleased to announce the two winners of our Antares Auto Tune 8 competition, Carlo Bandini on the left and Tom Pivovar on the right.
Carlo told us…
I’m an Italian producer and composer living in Spain. I record and mix in my home studio everything except the drums, which I record in a rented shed.
I spend most of my time producing local bands and composing for other artists, but I also play the keyboard in a rock band and record my own music but I don’t like to sell or to publish my music.
I was using Pro Tools HD Native for a few years, however I’ve recently sold it because I now prefer to use Logic Pro to Pro Tools, but using Logic Pro I can no longer take advantage of Pro Tools hardware’s features.
As i’m not a great producer, I don’t make great investments, I have used another tuning plug-in when it was on offer, to tune the vocal or guitar tracks, but found it very limited. I am looking forward to using Auto Tune 8 because it is so much more flexible and reliable.
Tom told us…
I am from Cleveland, OH and I am currently enrolled at Cuyahoga Community College on the Recording Arts and Technology program. I’m scheduled to graduate this summer with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. I am currently an intern at Lava Room Recording Studio.
I have been working with local bands in Cleveland to record and produce songs. My next project will be engineering and producing an EP for a band from Cleveland called Restless Habs. I’ve heard good things about Auto Tune 8. It will help me create a more professionally sounding product. I’ll be able to easily keep a singer in tune without the frustration.
