Avid, the makers of Pro Tools, are to announce an update to Pro Tools 12; Pro Tools 12.3 with some new features at 139th AES Convention in New York, a source has told Pro Tools Expert.
The 139th AES Convention takes place in New York City this weekend.
Pro Tools 12.3 is rumoured to have:
- Free up CPU power and collaborate easier with Track Commit - which is effectively track freeze but with some cool drag and drop options.
- Deliver stems and multi-track masters faster than ever with Track Bounce allowing the ability to create a set of multitrack stems.
- Drag and Drop MIDI to audio
- Better fade options - move and position overlapping clips and fades with clip transparency.
- Eliminate repetitive editing tasks with customizable batch fades and presets
