More On The Slate Raven MTi2
The Raven MTi2 is a 27” Multi-Touch Production Console featuring a multi-touch panel and the powerful new RAVEN 3.0 Control Software. Using the RAVEN MTi2, users have access to multi-touch faders, pans, sends, and tweak plugins with their fingers. The Raven 3.0 Control Software also features a user-customisable multifunction Toolbar and their Batch Commander System, an automated task application that can help cut out tedious technical tasks.
FADERS 3.0 are their new multi-touch faders that allow precise control of your DAW faders. Slate say that the new 3.0 algorithm "gives the faders a virtual ‘feel’ that allows an intuitive feeling action that is comfortable and even fun to use. And for the most critical automation, FINE FADER mode can quadruple the resolution of the faders so you can get even the most minute moves down in the first pass with ease and perfection."

A Letter To Every Raven Owner
Steven has sent a letter to every Raven user explaining the new Raven MTi2....
Dear RAVEN MTi Customer,
Today we came out with the RAVEN MTi-2. I wanted to write you so that we can answer some questions that you may be having about this new version.
I want to start by saying that as a company, we always aim to improve our products so that we can continue to provide the best solutions for our customers. In the case of the MTi-2, this improvement was not about making it better quality than the original, but improving the price point so that more people could afford it. And so in order to do that, we made some significant changes that make the new MTi-2 differ from the unit that you have.
First, we got rid of the expensive aluminum frame. This metal makes your RAVEN quite more substantial and robust, but at a cost. Second, we are no longer making the RAVEN MTi-2’s in the US, but are now getting them made overseas to reduce labor costs.
Some of you may still want to have dual or triple MTi systems. It is important to note that with dual and triple systems, you must have the same model MTi. Therefore, we have reserved a stock of original MTi’s, and can offer them to you at a really great price either directly or through your preferred dealer if you’d like to get one.
The great news is that along with the MTi-2 announcement, we have also previewed the RAVEN 3.0 Software. You can see more about 3.0 at www.slatemt.com. Note that the 3.0 software update will be FREE for all current RAVEN users!
