Dan's Opinions

I was in the market for a no thrills 4 input USB interface to replace my MBOX and ageing Digi003 that I've been using for Pro Tools Expert content production.  The Behringer U-Phoria selection caught my eye straight away as the price was very keen and the features on offer seemed to be very promising.  I thought it was worth a punt, so I purchased it based on my experience with using Behringer's X32 live desk in professional shows that I've engineered in the past.

I must say that this little interface is a pleasure to use.  It is very easy to get going with.  It really is a 'plug & play' bit of gear that fitted right into my studio workflow.  I was very surprised with the quality of the pre amps and the overall feel of the pots and switches.  What I like is that I was after a no thrills interface but got a well thought out bit of gear instead.  I am left scratching my head about the price though.  It's so good, how can it be this affordable?  Where's the catch?  Well I've been using it for several days now and don't believe there is one.

Thank you Behringer for a great product.

For those who don't already know about the U-Phoria range then let me make you aware that there is a few variations available of this product including a 2 in - 2 out version and a 18 in - 20 1U interface (expandable via ADAT).
