Synchro Arts Revoice Pro 4.3 Released - What's New?

Revoice Pro 4 is the go-to solution for completing complex editing tasks if you regularly work with vocals or dialogue. Revoice Pro 4 brings together our most advanced timing and pitch alignment technology, a set of cutting-edge tuning tools and a natural-sounding vocal doubler.

Whether you need to tighten timing or pitch on a huge vocal stack, manually tune a lead or create authentic-sounding double tracks, Revoice Pro has you covered. As well as pitch correction and doubling, you can create process groups in Revoice Pro so you can change the alignment settings for a whole vocal stack via a single panel. And it just got a whole lot better with the release of version 4.3.

Version 4.3 introduces an ARA version of the Revoice Pro link plug-in to Logic Pro users. Instantaneous transfers back and forth between Logic Pro 10.6.2 or higher and Revoice Pro are now finally here and are rock solid. The new "Autoplay before Capture" feature means no more pressing play and stop in Logic before capture.

The APT processes, renowned for aligning the timing and pitch of multiple vocal tracks, now has SmartAlign. When this is enabled, it can align audio with significant gaps in the guide or dub audio. This new feature allows you to align longer performances that you previously had to break into segments.

The plug-in has two modes of operation. The first is a Quick mode which uses a temporary Revoice Pro session and can only contain one APT or Doubler process at a time. The second uses Link mode, which uses a Revoice Pro session to be saved and reloaded to keep adjustments and edits for future use.

Also new in version 4.3: Pitch can optionally be used to help the time alignment. This new function is helpful with legato audio, as the energy alignment alone may not find features to align. APT Sync Points have been re-activated and now work better than in previous versions.

There is also an improved GUI. The default session now contains two tracks rather than three. And the new APT and new Doubler panels have been simplified with more straightforward options and workflow.

In this video for Production Expert, Eli Krantzberg looks at the new features in action, so be sure to check out the all-new and improved Revoice Pro 4.3.
