Source Elements has been busy emailing all their customers who own legacy versions of Source-Connect from version 3.0 to version 3.7, because, from August 31st 2021, they will no longer work. However, all is not lost, the good news is that they are discounts to upgrade to the current version. We have the details.

In their email Source Elements explain…

“As happens with many software packages over time, innovation, OS changes, and new releases render older versions obsolete.

We value you as a customer and want to offer you a one-time special offer to upgrade to the current version for Mac and Windows.”

What To Do

If you have received an email from Source Elements then dig it out and follow the instructions in the email.

If you can’t find the email, don’t worry we can show you what you need to do…

1. Click on the button above. This will take you to the Upgrades page on the Source Elements web store.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Show All, so you can see all the upgrade versions.

3. Look carefully in the title for the correct upgrade version. Start by looking for upgrade options from your current version, for example, Source-Connect Pro 3.6.

4. Then find the upgrade from your current version to Source-Connect 3.9. Make sure if you have the Standard version, you select the upgrade to Source-Connect Standard 3.9.

5. If you own Source-Connect Pro then make sure you select the upgrade from your existing version to Source-Connect Pro 3.9

6. Click on your chosen upgrade and then click on the Add To Cart button

7. In the Shopping Cart window find the Apply Discount Code link in the bottom left corner and click it.

8. Make sure that the discount code LegacySC30-37to3920percent gets applied and looks like the example below, and then Proceed To Checkout as normal.
