RME Digiface USB and Ferrofish Pulse 16

In this video created by our friends over at Synthax UK, RME and Ferrofish, they take a look at pairing Ferrofish's Pulse 16 AD/DA converter with the RME Digiface USB to create a simple, high-end recording setup that is perfect for producers, composers and musicians who require a large number of line level inputs for hardware instruments.

As well as talking about what makes this pairing ideal for users of hardware instruments like synthesisers and drum machines, the video details the install and connection process for both devices, to get started with this powerful recording setup.

The Pulse 16 series is a series of high quality AD/DA converters from German pro audio manufacturer Ferrofish, featuring extensive I/O connectivity as well as intuitive front panel controls and remote control operation via Ferrofish’s RemoteFish software application.

The RME Digiface USB is a compact 66-channel USB audio interface, carrying audio digitally with the use of ADAT connections. This means that this tiny interface can carry 8 channels of audio via each lightpipe connection.

What's more, like all RME interfaces, the Digiface USB gives you access to Totalmix, RME's comprehensive software mixer that provides complete control over all audio channels coming in and out of your interface.
