If you are a Mac user and you have more plugins installed on your system than you use, you need Audio Plugin Uninstaller. The refreshingly descriptive name of this product probably tells you all you need to know. We’ve tried it and it’s great!

If you are quick to install free plugins and trials, but rather slower to uninstall them you are creating mess on your hard drive. And just deleting plugin from your plugins folder isn’t necessarily enough. Audio Plugin Uninstaller fixes this.

How Does Audio Plugin Uninstaller Work?

It works with VST, VST3, AU AAX and CLAP plugins. It reads the installation receipts and reverses the process. It makes sure not to uninstall files used by other plugins, If a plugin doesn’t appear then it doesn’t have a normal receipt and should have its own uninstaller.

I install and test every free plugin we run on the site and I’m not as thorough as I should be about uninstalling them, leading to lots of mess on my computer. This software is just what I needed!
