OWC Thunderbolt 4 Hub Docking Station Announced

The OWC Thunderbolt 4 Hub Docking Station has been created to enable you to consolidate and simplify the connectivity between all your devices with all the Thunderbolt ports you’ve always wanted on your Apple M1 Mac, any Apple ‘Intel’ Mac with Thunderbolt 3, or any Thunderbolt 4 PC.

The OWC Thunderbolt 4 Hub Docking Station has been designed so that can connect and charge nearly anything through a single port on your Thunderbolt equipped Mac or PC.

When it comes to monitors, it supports dual displays up to two 4K or one 5K/6K/8K display, as well as devices like high-performance storage NVMe solutions, as well as desktop accessories like a keyboard or mouse, are all fair game. What’s more any accessories with past, present or future USB or Thunderbolt interfaces can all be connected to the OWC Thunderbolt Hub.

What A Hub Is Good For

With daisy chains, removing any device other than the last one will break the chain and disconnect devices until you reconnect them. With a hub like this OWC unit, you can create up to three separate chains, enabling you to be able to remove devices from one chain without affecting or disconnecting the others. With the OWC Thunderbolt 4 Hub Docking Station, you can even add three bus-powered Thunderbolt devices.
