Mackie's NAMM announcement is the rebirth of the Onyx line of mixers, with New Onyx Series Analog USB Mixers' launch.

The new series has been redesigned to include a compact 8 channel version up to a comprehensive 24 channel mixer, this new version adds multitrack recording over USB and onboard DSP effects.

Aimed at recording songwriters, content creators, podcasters, and live performers, the four different configurations are available: Onyx8, Onyx12, Onyx16, and Onyx24 - come packed with features. These include multitrack session recording via USB at 24-bit/96kHz, recording a stereo mix of your live show to an SD card, the high-gain Onyx mic preamps and the Perkins "British Style" EQ.
