The patent pending Imperative Audio Portable Vocal Booth is designed to offer real booth performance for singers, voice over artists, broadcasters, podcasters and recording professionals. But unlike traditional booths, the “PVB” is collapsible and comes in at a fraction of the price of similar performing booths.

The PVB’s light aluminium cylindrical design largely eliminates the issue of standing waves usually found in and around corners of vocal booths. With a circumference of 324cm and an opening of 80cm, the Imperative Audio PVB is spacious enough for just about any performer especially for long periods.

The PVB with the legs retracted sits at 118cm and is a great solution for amp isolation and mic’ing in the studio. With all 5 legs fully extended, the PVB stands at 210cm offering good headroom for even the tallest performer.

The Imperative Audio Portable Vocal Booth ships with an accessory bar, bookstand, storage bag and for a limited period, a free LED light.

The acoustically treated roof is easy to add securely to the PVB and features a 30cm channel which allows you to lower an overhead mic stand into the booth.

With no less than 3 high performing layers of acoustic treatment and the optional roof, the Portable Vocal Booth offers an incredible 0.07 secs reflection time (RT60 in accordance with ISO 3382-2 Measurements) and an average of 28.4dba reduction (One-Third-Octave Spectrum LZeq in accordance with IEC 61260) which is unheard of for an open booth solution.
