This week’s free plugin is S Doubler from SoliderSound, a plugin which adds depth and width to sounds, with control and without the poor mono compatibility which can accompany doubler and widener effects.

What Is S Doubler?

S Doubler adds width and depth to your vocal and instrument tracks. It replicates the psycho-acoustic effects of sound proximity to create a true sense of dimension in your mix. Place the four doubling voices on a virtual sound stage and craft the stereo image of your music.

The simple UI allows you to combine doubling and widening in any combination, the effect can be band limited and while there isn’t a dedicated Mix control for use as an insert, the Gain control controls the level of the wet signal and achieves the same effect.
