Room tones are a crucial part of the audio post-production workflow. With the increasing use of immersive formats like Dolby Atmos, having immersive sound effects with height components really helps. Here is your chance to download a free library with 60 files in B-Format Ambix and native dummy head binaural formats.

Immersive Room Tones by Krilloud is a collection of immersive room tones recorded at Polo Digital, based in Malaga, Spain.

The rooms tones in this free library vary from a very quiet room to a busy and noisy server room. Each location has been recorded in ambisonics A-Format Ambix (converted to B-Format Ambix) and native binaural (dummy head). The ambisonics recordings were made using a Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic and a Tascam DR 701d recorder, and the binaural recordings were made using a custom dummy head (Ernest) and a Tascam DR 100 MK III recorder.

The audio files are provided in WAV and OGG file formats. Note that some clips are loopable, making them easier to use in VR and game audio productions.
