Avid Bringing Official Eucon Integration To SoundFlow - UPDATED

SoundFlow has announced a raft of developments at NAMM, including official integration with iZotope RX, support for Stream Deck Plus, but the headline announcement has to be the official Avid integration with EuCon. This is what we know so far.

SoundFlow Announces Official EuCon Integration

The SoundFlow team seems determined to make a series of big splashes for their first time as a company at NAMM.

As a result of SoundFlow’s close collaboration with Avid, with the next release of EuCon, ScreenFlow will get support for running SoundFlow macros and scripts directly from the soft keys on any EuCon-enabled control surface.

This is all we know right now. We will bring you more as it comes in.

Avid’s Eddie Jones explains more…

“Multi App EUCON softkeys coming soon. Make a softkey macro with commands that go to different DAW's. I.E. Make a softkey that has a Pro Tools command, a SoundFlow command, a Logic Pro command, a setting change and a keyboard command, all together.”

SoundFlow Announces Official Integration With iZotope RX

After Pro Tools, iZotope RX is probably the most used app with SoundFlow today. At NAMM, SoundFlow has announced official integration with iZotope RX bringing over 280 built-in commands, including customisable presets to suit your workflow, all with beautifully designed icons, ready to use, all designed to enable users to be able to control all aspects of iZotope RX.

The package will include a pre-installed 5x3 iZotope RX deck developed for Stream Deck and tablets, designed to get you up and running in no time.

Users will be able to quickly recall iZotope RX Module, Module Chain Presets, and Batch Processor presets. Send audio from Pro Tools to iZotope, process with your favourite modules, and send it back again with just a few clicks or fully automated. And much more...

Again that’s all we know right now; as soon as we know more, we will bring it to you.

SoundFlow bringing Stream Deck Plus Support to SoundFlow 5.4 in May 2023

SoundFlow v5.4 will include Stream Deck Plus support using their new "meta commands" system. Through this, it will be possible for users to combine dynamic commands from all of the various SoundFlow integrations and packages into a single deck.

One aspect of the new meta commands will be the option to act as knobs, easily assignable to Stream Deck Plus knobs. In addition, it will be possible to dynamically render their icons so that they always reflect the state of the parameter they're controlling.

The plan is that users will be able to apply meta commands to use the knobs on a Stream Deck Plus to control Pro Tools faders, volume controls, sliders in iZotope, Soundminer, Soundly, and much more.

New Virtual MOM Controller SoundFlow App Coming In SoundFlow 5.4

Once SoundFlow 5.4 gets released in May 2023, Andrew Scheps will also launch his new "Scheps MOMDeck" premium SoundFlow app, a virtual MOM-controller designed in SoundFlow for use with Stream Decks, tablets and for on-screen surfaces. You can even combine it with the SoundFlow trigger system to have keyboard shortcuts, MIDI, and OSC triggers automatically change DADman settings.

You will be able to use it with the Stream Deck Plus to have the knobs control the volume, MOM profile layers, and Dim/Mute. Each button can also be assigned to control sources, monitor outputs and everything else you're accustomed to from the MOM controller. As an exclusive feature, you can select custom colours for each button and rename them, so it's easier to remember what they represent.

Thanks to our new meta commands system, you will also be able to combine buttons from this integration with other dynamic buttons for controlling Pro Tools or other apps, so you get the most out of your hardware real estate.

More to come closer to the release.
