Evolving Remote Workflows

While there are a great deal of tools out there that have helped engineers and artists overcome geography, Audiomovers LISTENTO in recent years has perhaps gained the most traction among pros. As well as realising remote recording and mixing workflows for those in different locations, it has also grown a number of features that allow stakeholders to listen and review audio securely.

Recently, Audiomovers developed Web Transmitter. This essentially provides LISTENTO’s functionality without the need for collaborators to use a standalone desktop app, via their existing web-browser. With a mobile version available too, we decided to investigate further…

  • Use as a VST/AU/AAX plugin in the DAW or in a web browser.

  • Stream audio at up to 32-bit/96 kHz.

  • Stream multichannel audio, up to 7.1.4 surround/Dolby ATMOS.

  • Adjustable latency and bit rate for ultimate stability over different connections.

  • Enable/disable remote recording via the LISTENTO Receiver.

  • Generate random session URLs for maximum session security.
