Antelope Audio Unveils Synergy Core Native

Antelope Audio has announced the launch of its new software solution, Synergy Core Native. This program facilitates using their respected analogue hardware modelling technology on macOS and Windows platforms without needing a DSP interface.

Leveraging years of research and testing, the team at Antelope Audio has transitioned the complex modelling processes from proprietary FPGA chips in their interfaces to the native domain, enhancing both portability and versatility.

Expanding Toolset for Audio Professionals

Synergy Core Native offers a collection of 38 plugins available through a membership plan, catering to a diverse group of users with various budget allowances. This plan promises regular updates with new plugins, serving as a dynamic and evolving resource for audio professionals.

A Variety of Dynamic Plugins

Users can explore nine different types of dynamic plugins, including models based on tube hardware from various eras, such as the Chess records period and the 1990s. One of the highlights is the OPTO-2A plugin, emulating a well-regarded levelling amplifier known for its warm sound and soft compression characteristics.

Rich Suite of EQ Plugins

The package also provides over 15 Native EQ plugins, offering a spectrum of tone-shaping possibilities. These range from the widely recognized BAE 1073 to unique reproductions of less common hardware like the Filtek-Mk3. These plugins aim to accurately replicate the original hardware's distinct sound characteristics, with options for a wide range of creative needs.

Versatile Modulation Plugins

In addition, the Synergy Core Native includes a range of modulation plugins, like delays, flangers, chorus modulators, and vibrato plugins. Notable inclusions are the Memory Cat plugin, modelled after the 1980s Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man pedal, and a Multi-Voice Chorus plugin capable of creating up to 12 voicings based on the source material.

Continual Development and Easy Accessibility

Antelope Audio continues to expand its plugin library, striving to offer a broad array of tools to the next generation of music creators. The Synergy Core Native library, supporting AAX, VST3, and AU formats, is available via a €14.95 monthly membership plan or an annual plan at €149, which includes a two-month free period. Licensing is handled through iLok Cloud or iLok USB (2nd gen or higher), with a 14-day free trial available to new users.
