The attention to detail and care taken with this recreation of a classic electric piano offers all the warmth and dynamic range you'd expect of the original. Inspiration is plentiful, with multiple electric piano velocity layers – from Vibraphone-like smoothness to ultra-aggressive, distorted sounds - you really feel as if your playing a Wurli.

The 'Studio' sample set delivers the direct line-out sound, while the 'Live' sample set captures the speakers' sound through a comprehensive microphone set-up.

Session Keys Electric S embodies the evolution of the electric piano, sampled from a 1973 Fender Rhodes Suitcase.

To recreate this much-loved electric piano e-instruments spared nothing in finding a top-quality original, followed by weeks of specialist restoration, to ensure this piano was in peak condition to meticulous record every nuance of its original sound.

'Studio' mode gives direct unaltered line-out sound, while 'Live' mode captures the sound of cabinet and speakers through a comprehensive microphone set-up covering all four speakers for an incredibly realistic feel.

Session Keys Electric R is based on a vintage 1976 Mark I Stage Piano, specially modified by the e-instruments team with eight individual outputs to capture every nuance of its classic sound.

Electric R has a voice all of its own: a throaty mid to lower range, with clear and delicate upper registers. If you’re after an authentic Rhodes experience, Electric R is enjoyable and satisfying to play and well worth considering.

The Studio mode for Electric R was recorded directly through high-end pre-amps and A/D converters, reproducing the piano’s clear, bell-like character. Whereas the Live mode uses classic vintage outboard equipment and pre-amps for an edgier, rougher version of the instrument.
