Ujam HYPE - New Beatmaker Instrument Promises Festival EDM Anthems Without The Sample Packs

In a little over 2 years, Ujam have extended their line of genre-specific Beatmaker instruments well beyond the original trio of Beatmakers DOPE, EDEN and HUSTLE. At the time we commented that the concept behind the Beatmakers of sounds and phrases, which are very specifically targeted at specific sub-genres is both original and useful.

With the latest announcement of Beatmaker HYPE, the Beatmakers line up has extended to six instruments covering everything from Synthwave to Drum and Bass. HYPE is loaded with Progressive House and EDM samples, presets and grooves, allows producers to create genre-savvy beats without a learning curve.

HYPE features 460 Progressive House, EDM, Deep House and classic Ibiza patterns professionally sampled in 20 styles and a signature Riser special control that automates the multi-effect chain needed for high-impact builds.

HYPE complements the Beatmaker series including EDEN 2 (HYPE’s EDM sister), DOPE 2 (Vintage HipHop), HUSTLE 2 (Trap), VICE (80s and Synthwave) and VOID (Drum & Bass).

HYPE is available now in VST, AU 2 and AAX formats also as a free, fully functional 30-day trial at ujam.com.

HYPE features:

  • 20 styles and 460 phrases

  • 50 signature presets

  • 10 drum kits, 12 mix presets

  • MIDI Drag and Drop and a resizable GUI
