AX32 Expansion Options - The Definitive Video Guide

The DAD AX32 is a powerful centrepiece to any audio system. It’s a router, a format converter, AD/DA converter, monitor controller. The list goes on. It’s so capable that it was the device Avid chose as the origin of their MTRX when they needed to move beyond the HD line of interfaces. Because it is modular it can be almost anything you want it to be so if you need to manage routing and sample rate conversion between a thousand channels of Dante, just load up an AX32 chassis with Dante expansion cards and that’s exactly what you have. If you need 48 channels of pristine analog outputs, just load up the chassis with output cards. You get the idea.

In a chassis with 8 card slots, what exactly are the options? In this useful series of videos from DAD, Jan Lykke looks at the options available for the NTP Penta 720. The DAD AX32 and the NTP Penta 720 share the same expansion options so although the chassis is different, the cards are the same.
