Back in 2015 Berlin-based musician, producer, and engineer Robbie Moore decided to move from one studio to another in order to have more studio space. He found an empty warehouse and set about designing and building an impressive studio with a nod to some great studios of the ’50s and ’60s. Robbie has a mighty collection of musical toys from the past, present, and future which is one reason for checking out this video.

In this video, Robbie explains the thought processes behind his epic studio build while he shows many pictures of the build.

Building any form of soundproof room to also function properly as a recording studio is hard work, choosing to use a large derelict warehouse as a starting point must have felt impossible at times.
