Studio monitor specialist EVE Audio is proud to announce the debut of its newest monitoring solution, the SC3070. They are hi-resolution, tri-amped 3-way monitors, optimized for either near field or midfield setups. 

The SC3070 powered monitors use a 7-inch low-frequency driver for the bottom end of the frequency spectrum. Accompanying the 7-inch driver is a 4-inch glass fibre honeycomb diaphragm woofer, for clear and precise midrange frequencies. EVE Audio’s proprietary RS3 Air Motion Transformer rounds out the three-way system with smooth and accurate highs.

All of the SC3070’s frequency response parameters are controlled by high-resolution DSP electronics supported by a high-quality A/D converter from Burr-Brown. Three high-quality Class D amplifiers are directly connected to the DSP section with no additional conversion to ensure extreme reliability.

EVE Audio’s well-known attention to detail is as evident in this new monitor, as it is in all of their existing models. The enclosure contains a bevelled ultra-stiff front plate to reduce unwanted resonances and diffraction. Their size makes them suitable for both near-field or midfield use. In other words, they’re useful in smaller as well as larger control rooms.

Expected to ship in Q2 2020, the EVE Audio SC3070 will carry a list price of €1700 each.
