Sugar is a multi-band processor which adds polish, warmth, weight or sizzle and unlike some other plug-ins which offer similar processes this gets the balance between ease of use and control just about right, you could even say it hits the sweet spot between speed and control.

In this tutorial Production Expert Editor Julian Rodgers runs through basic operation, including some tricks to make a plug-in which is already easy to use, even easier. In this case a single instance is being used across the master but the level of control available makes Sugar very appropriate for use on subgroups or individual instruments.
