We love Softube plug-ins at Production Expert. Somehow all their analog inspired plug-ins just seem to work in any mixing applications with little fuss or fettling. The Tube-Tech series, which has been around for nearly ten years now, represents some of the best modelled plug-ins by Softube. Recently this series received a gentle “modernisation” update released under the name Tube-Tech Collection Mk II which includes sharper UI graphics, parallel & mid/side processing, all welcomed features for sure but the party piece of this package lies within it’s sonic performance. Pro Tools HDX AAX DSP Support Dropped

If you use the previous version of Softube’s Tube-Tech with Pro Tools HDX then you should know that Softube did not develop or include an AAX DSP version in the Tube-Tech Mk II update. Support for all other popular native plug-in formats are available.
