I’m an award nominated composer, sound designer and audio mixer/editor. I’ve produced scores for a variety of directors around the world, that includes short and feature films, as well as plays and recently, a foray in to gaming audio. As a mixer and editor, I’ve worked on podcasts and comedies, as well as mixed and mastered a variety of tracks across many genres.
My other job is a music technology tutor, teaching subjects such as studio recording techniques, live sound engineering and music and sound for media. To add to this, I’m a multi-instrumentalist, with guitar, bass, drums, keys; and have a love of trying many other instruments, from cigar box guitars to harmonicas. Across the years I’ve added roles such as stage and band manager, live sound engineer, taught guitar and bass to those from six to sixty and recorded/engineered over three hundred acts.
In the world of composing, you look for those unique instruments, that will give you another set of tools to enhance your projects.
