iCON Pro Audio has announced their new Platform U22 VST, 2-in/2-out USB 3.0 audio interface supporting up to 24 bit and 192KHz sample rate as an addition to their Platform MIDI/audio control range, tailored to match its series siblings.

The iCON Platform U22 VST, 2-in/2-out USB 3.0 audio interface has full duplex, simultaneous record/playback support through the two high-quality Mic/Inst/Line preamps, each equipped with individual Gain controls, +48V phantom power switching, and LED indicators to assist with dialling in the sound.

The interface features two analogue balanced inputs on 1/4-inch TRS jacks; two analog balanced outputs on 1/4-inch TRS jacks; MIDI I/O (1–16 channel); a direct monitoring (DM) switch for Stereo, Mono and PC with individual volume control; and headphone output with individual (HP) volume control built into a metal construction case.

Platform U22 VST also comes complete with ProDriver VST, iCON Pro Audio’s innovative, proprietary plug-in host and virtual signal routing software for MacOS (Intel- Mac) and Windows 7, 8 , and 10 (32-bit/64-bit), so users can even host plug-ins without launching their trusty DAW!
