Top Sound Designer and Director Georgia Hilton has launched what could be the ultimate Film Mixing plug-in, so advanced that it could even render its host DAWs - Pro Tools or Logic, redundant by its very existence.

Georgia launched her new plug-in on Facebook:

I've gotten so tired of people asking for the easy way to mix a feature, or what's the best Plugin... so look. here it is... After years of work I'm proud to announce the new Protools (sic) and Logic plugin: DUBSTAGE. Now anyone can mix a feature at home and sound like a pro ! Just drop it into your mix stem and it takes care of everything. 

We've developed an algorithm to completely mix a feature film, totally polish the dialogue, create all the stems, build a fully loaded M&E stem, meet all specs AND sound like it was specifically mixed in any dub stage by any re-recoding engineer, by simply pushing a button... easy peasy... :) we're coming out with the 7.1, Dolby ATMOS, and IMAX version later this year. 

There will be updates offering new engineers and rooms - The European Option will be released next week including dubstages in London, Munich, and Paris !

Needless to say, the Post-Production community is completely gripped:

GREAT news. Figure when I'm too old to do production sound 80 hours a week that a dub stage re-recording mixer job would be the way to go. Thanks DUBSTAGE! Dreams do come true.

With the MOVIE upgrade you simply load your mix, add the DUBSTAGE Plugin, enable MOVIE and select any Blockbuster Film you want YOUR movie to sound like, and BOOM! your mix is done and it sounds as good as the movie you selected!
