Flex offers users up to ten Waves plug-ins of their choice (for a limited time get an extra three Waves plug-ins for free) for $19.99 per month over a 24-month continuous period. After the two year rental period Flex users will own the plug-in licenses outright. There are over 185 Waves plug-ins to choose from within the new Flex system, sadly that's not the entire Waves plug-in catalogue.

Flex users will get free Waves Update Plan coverage throughout their 24-month plan plus one extra year as a free bonus making a total of 3 years cover. This free Waves Update Plan coverage provides Flex users with free updates for all Flex rented plug-ins as well as full phone and email access to Waves’ Technical Support team.

Users can cancel their Flex plan anytime but they will not be eligible for plug-in license ownership. Users need to stay in their 24-month plan without interruption if they want their rented plug-ins to be owned licenses. If users cancel their Waves Flex plan and later wish to resume users will have to start a new fresh Flex plan, even if the exact same plug-ins are selected again. In any case of cancelling, a new 24-month period towards ownership will start from scratch.
