Tonsturm Today Release Traveler - A Processor That Recreates The Doppler Effect In Plug-in Form

Ever needed to recreate the Doppler effect as an object passes you? Tonsturm today has released a plug-in called Traveler that has been designed to produce that unique Doppler effect using a graphical path editor in the GUI to enable a sound’s virtual movement, but that is just the start...

Traveler Graphical Path Editor

The graphical path editor has the ability to adjust the Duration, Length and Speed parameters, enabling you to be able to set up exactly how the object moves in seconds, frames, miles, meters, beats and more units of measurement.

Traveler Is A Granular Synth Too

As well as live processing to create the Doppler effect, Traveler has a granular sampler, with controls to enable you to adjust the Pitch, Size, Density, Pan, Position and Jitter of sample playback.

Traveler Filters And More

On the right-hand side of the Traveler GUI, there are the physical propagation parameters (Air absorption, Attenuation, Doppler Pitch, Damping…) to improve the realism of the Doppler effect in the plug-in as well as 5 effects (Tremolo, Delay, Distortion, EQ and Compression) designed to provide even more control over the sonic soundscape. As if that wasn’t enough, Traveler also has four custom shapeable LFOs to assign to the sampler and effects controls too.
