This is a great tip for anyone working with MIDI in Pro Tools and comes courtesy of community member, Jim Reeves. If you want to scale your MIDI so that either the MIDI editor or the notes view in the Edit window scales to fit the MIDI from the lowest note to the highest just hit:

• Mac - CMD+Ctrl+Shift+[

• PC - Start+Ctrl+Shift+[

Additional complementary action is to scroll up and down in notes view using the scroll wheel. This works as expected in the MIDI editor but in the Edit page scrolling scrolls the entire edit page up and down. To scroll MIDI notes hold the “power claw” and then scroll…
