In this first episode we look at the basic automation modes, including Read, Write, Touch, Latch and Touch/Latch. I also demonstrate the use of automation Trim.

2 - Advanced Automation - Latch Prime In Stop, Manual Write And Write On Stop Commands

In the second video, we look at a number of features specific to Pro Tools Ultimate software including Latch Prime In Stop, the Manual Write and Write On Stop commands found in the Automation window as well as a second family of automation commands found under the Edit menu.

The Edit menu commands include Write To Current, Write To All Enabled, Trim To Current, Trim To All Enabled and finally Glide To Current and Glide To All Enabled

3 - Advanced Automation - Suspend, Preview and Punch Preview

In this third tutorial in the 4 part series, Paul Maunder looks at more of the advanced automation features available in Pro Tools Ultimate including Suspend, Preview and Punch Preview.
