Friday Free Plug-in - Dirty Filter From BPB

This week we are featuring Dirty Filter from Bedroom Producers Blog. It features a pair of resonant filters and emulated analogue tube circuitry. You can use the BPB Dirty Filter in your favourite DAW to add some subtle colouration or to crush the audio signal into pieces.

It’s A Versatile Filter

Featuring a high-pass and a low-pass filter combo, BPB Dirty Filter is a useful utility for cleaning up your audio. Both filters have a range between 20 Hz and 20 kHz and the filter slope can be set to 12, 24, 36, or 48 dB/oct. The plugin also features a Mix knob and an output volume control for easy gain staging in your DAW.

It’s A Dirty Filter

With the Drive knob set to zero, BPB Dirty Filter operates as a transparent filter plugin. In this mode, it is great for cleaning up low-frequency hum or removing high-frequency noise. However, push the Drive knob to a higher setting and BPB Dirty Filter transforms into one of the most hardcore distortion plugins around.
