SeteChave From Audio Fusion - Friday Free Plug-in

This week's featured free plug-in from our free plug-ins database is SeteChave From Audio Fusion.

What Is SeteChave?

Setechave is a compressor. It has no metering and doesn’t report its gain reduction to the Pro Tools mixer so you are guided by your ears alone. When we tested it we found it quite refreshing to set up some compression on a kick or a snare and adjust to taste. You might be surprised by how much compression you apply when you don’t have a meter telling you that you’ve gone too far. Whether that is a good or a bad thing really depends but try it and see how you get on.

How To Get SeteChave

Go to the Audio Fusion Website, make a $0 purchase of SeteChave. Supply your name and email address and complete your $0 purchase. Your serial and the download link will be on the next page when you complete the purchase.

What Does It Mean If I Get A Warning When Trying To Install On A Mac?

Mac users, depending on your operating system, the installation might trigger a warning that says “Audio FB SeteChave can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software”. This does not mean that a threat has been detected. If you wish to proceed the plug-in can be installed by clicking Open. To find out more about Apple’s new notarization system, which causes this warning, see our article on these changes, also Focusrite offers advice on these changes here.

SeteChave is available in AAX, VST and AU for macOS and VST only for Windows. No iLok required.
