This week's featured free plug-in from our free plug-ins database is a oldie but a goodie. Softube Saturation Knob has been around forever but it’s still as good as it ever was.

What Is Softube Saturation Knob?

Pretty much a one knob plug-in, Saturation knob is available either as a plug-in or as a device in Softube’s Modular Synth. As you turn up the knob you get everything from subtle colour through to a clipped racket. The saturation type switch lets you steer the effect towards the top or the bottom end. it’s simple but distinctive and it sounds good. Great!

How To Get Saturation Knob

Saturation Knob is a free plug-in, but you do need to get a license in order to run it.

First, set up a Softube account, and make sure to link an iLok account to it. Then go to the Saturation Knob product page and click the green “Buy: FREE” button. 

A license will be sent to your iLok account, and you can then use the Softube Central app (found under the “My Account” tab on our website) to install your new plug-in.

Saturation Knob is available in AAX, VST and AU for Windows and macOS. iLok required.
