Create Automation Breakpoints At The Same Value As the Previous Or Next Breakpoint - FREE Expert Tip
When editing automation you might often want to create an extra breakpoint at the same value as either the next or previous value. This is easy, just click in the playlist with the Grab tool while holding the following modifiers:
Original playlist with three breakpoints
Add Breakpoint At Previous Breakpoint Value CMD+Opt (Ctrl+Alt on PC)
The same playlist with an extra breakpoint created between the 2nd and 3rd breakpoints at the same value as the 2nd breakpoint i.e. the previous breakpoint.
Add Breakpoint At Next Breakpoint Value Opt+Shift (Alt+Shift on PC)
The same playlist with an extra breakpoint created between the 2nd and 3rd breakpoints at the same value as the 3rd breakpoint i.e. the next breakpoint.
