One of the new features introduced in Pro Tools 2018 was the ability to multi-select within menus. It was just one of a number of welcome UI tweaks which made operation quicker in places where small changes could make a big difference.

A number of menus including the Edit window rulers show/hide, the mix window show/hide and the workspace browser column views menu all benefitted from this new feature which addressed the issue that previously it was necessary to open the menu for every change you wished to make, on a long menu this could be laborious.

Spacebar And Arrow Keys

Now a system of checkboxes allows all the changes to be made in a single operation.
