See this content in the original post

Part 1 of this free video tutorial series demonstrated how to use Aggregate I/O and I/O Settings to create large system template mockups from any other computer. Part 2 revealed how to build sub and stem buses into your I/O setup to set up existing sessions for mixing inside the box. Part 3 will show you how to save your resources for use in future sessions.

Who Should Watch This Tutorial?

  • Advanced users who jump between multiple systems in their tracking, overdub, mixing, and mastering work
  • Beginners who want a deeper understanding of Pro Tools I/O Setup and Playback Engine
  • Any user who wants to build tracking day speed, and a deft I/O setup that can be used to quickly subgroup and stem their tracks when mixing

Once you spend the time creating buses, aux tracks for sub-grouping, and audio tracks for stems there's no need to have to do it again. Instead, by saving a session copy and choosing only selected tracks (without audio) you can archive your work for importing into future sessions.
