Tutorial - How To Loop Record And Use Track Comping For ADR In Pro Tools

In this free video tutorial, community member Paul Maunder takes a look at the process of loop recording ADR in Pro Tools and the associated track comping features. Playlists and a number of keyboard shortcuts essential to the ADR workflow are also covered.

Whilst it's not intended to be a comprehensive guide of recording and editing ADR, Paul does cover the basics of how to use playlists and Loop Record to track several ADR takes and then use the Track Comping features in Pro Tools, including the next features added in Pro Tools 2018, Paul also takes time to cover the shortcuts that help to create a smooth workflow.

More On Paul Maunder

After initially starting his career producing radio commercials, Paul went on to design and run a post-production studio, working on corporate videos and TV programmes.
