Tutorial - Processing Dual Mono Tracks By Linking Plug-in Controls In Pro Tools

See this content in the original post

In this premium video tutorial, Pro Tools Expert team member Julian Rodgers demonstrates a useful way to manage processing on dual mono tracks.

No Stereo Tracks Or Auxes

Ordinarily when presented with sessions containing dual mono tracks Julian either routes them through a stereo Aux Track or creates a stereo audio track from the two mono tracks. In a recent Opinion piece Dan Cooper explained his preference for working with two mono tracks as opposed to a stereo track. This is one of the many areas in audio where there isn't a definitive right or wrong way to do things but a significant difference between the two methods is how they handle processing. This technique offers a simple alternative to creating additional stereo tracks or auxes using mix groups.
