Powerful EQ

SSL EQs are known for their assertive character making them very suitable for precise EQ moves, really digging into the sound. In this example Julian uses the Console E Eq to address a body resonance on an acoustic guitar as well as filtering out some low frequency bumps, pushing back some plectrum noise and using the compressor section to catch some peaks. All moderate processes and the Console E fixes the issues and sound great doing it.

Brown Or Black EQ

The bx_console E features two alternative EQ types: Brown and Black knob. Julian auditions both before settling on a favourite. Lastly he auditions some of the alternative channels available in this TMT modelled plug-in. This plug-in isn't just a model of a single SSL channel, it is a model of 72 channels, all of which sound slightly different.
