Logickeyboard Release Keyboard Covers For Apple Magic Keyboards

Logickeyboard has released new keyboard covers which they claim are the first covers to fit the new Apple Magic numeric keyboard.

To try and make them as close a fit as possible these new keyboard cover have apparently been made quite differently to the way they have made covers in the past.

Logickeyboard's International Marketing Manager Casper Svanemose explained that they chose to send a Magic Keyboard to a 3D manufacturer...

They rendered the keyboard down to the smallest detail. This made it possible to produce the best fitting keyboard cover we’ve ever had. It's 0,5 mm thin and made from washable Japanese silicone, this is really a great accessory for editors who enjoy shortcuts, but don’t want to buy a custom keyboard, and who can enjoy soda without the fear of spilling soda over the keyboard, at the same time.

Currently, they have Keyboard covers are available for Avid Pro Tools but also, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer,  and Final Cut Pro X.

Our Thoughts

We covered the Apple Magic keyboards, which are wireless, and looked at the possible alternatives available at the time.

If you are happy with a wireless keyboard and not having a USB cable trailing across a console or work surface has its benefits then check out these new ultra thin keyboard covers. They would also suit anyone who works with a variety of different software packages as it makes it easier and cheaper to swap our covers to match the software you are currently working with.
